Lawrence Kenwright on the How Are We Famalam podcast

Lawrence Kenwright lifting the lid

I was recently persuaded to take part in a podcast to talk about my life in business and in particular how I became a hotelier and set up the Signature Living Hotel Group.

The podcast is called How are we Famalam hosted by a couple of fellow Scousers, comedian John May and pro boxer Jazza Dickens.

Tina Malone of Brookside, Shameless and most recently Tin Star fame and world champion boxer Tony Bellew have already been guests on the show and so I’m in good company.

As it turned out not only did I talk about my early life and my first adventures in business, but also I lifted the lid on the recent tough times at Signature Living following Brexit and the advent of the pandemic.

Throw in my views on homelessness, the Liverpool Echo and the recent scandal in Liverpool city council and it’s pretty compelling stuff.

Hope you enjoy it and thanks again to John and Jazza for having me. It was lots of fun and a bit of a laugh.
