Signature Living has today revealed plans for several new Belfast hotels including a uniquely themed George Best Hotel and a Titanic-themed hotel.

The Liverpool-based developer and hotelier are in legals for four buildings in Belfast, fortifying Signature Living’s move to the Northern Ireland capital.

This is a hugely exciting time for Signature Living, Belfast has so much history and culture and the newly released plans for Belfast are just the start of what the developer has in the pipeline.

These new developments will incorporate the cities and buildings magnificent history.

George Best Hotel in Belfast

One hotel which Signature Living have exciting plans for is the George Best themed hotel. He was a great Norther-Irish man with great connections to the city and with the huge success of The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool, it’s expected to be a magnificent development dedicated to the personal and professional life of the Northern Irish & Manchester United player. Signature Living has received full approval from George Best’s family, stating that they love the idea and have signed a contract following a visit to The Shankly Hotel.

The location for the George Best hotel still hasn’t been decided but it will follow the template of The Shankly Hotel which is dedicated to Liverpool FC’s greatest manager, Bill Shankly, Lawrence said; “we are using the knowledge that we have gleaned from The Shankly Hotel.

“Every room has a story of an individual that knew him. It’s about unearthing those stories… not so much the main life stories that everyone knows, this is about the stories you don’t know about.”

The Liverpool hotelier has a history of developing and creating magnificent hotels which really capture the history and stories of those who walked the corridors long before Signature ever existed.

Hotels such as 30 James Street are a real testament to that and the plans for Belfast developments are guaranteed to bring the same meaning and culture to future developments in Belfast.

Belfast is a city which is steeped in history and with a growing tourism industry, we are hugely excited about the upcoming plans we have for the city. Much like Liverpool, Belfast is a city on the rise and when tourists come to explore the rich history, eclectic nightlife and attractions in the city, I want them to be able to enjoy the famed Signature accommodation.

We are currently in legals regarding four sites in Belfast, in which we will be releasing further details of in the near future.

This is a hugely exciting time for Signature Living, you can keep up to date with all of the latest developments here and by keeping an eye on Signature Investments for any investment opportunities.

    Hello Lawrence,
Great to hear about the new hotels your building in Belfast. The George Best themed hotel will go down really well.
Why I’m contacting you is that I own a beautiful large Country House in Newcastle, Co.Down, home of the Royal County Down Golf Club, location of “Game Of Thrones” Tollymore Forest, at the moment we have 9 bedrooms in the B&B, plus 2 three bedroom cottages on Approx 1.75 acres, Idea for expansion to a themed bespoke hotel? It’s also up for sale if your interested?
I read in the Licensed & Catering News February issue, for people to contact you if had any ideas etc,, hence why I’m writing to you.
Look forward to hearing back from you, Maureen Courtney The Briers Country House
