Our goal at Signature Living is to not just restore and regenerate Liverpool’s most breathtaking buildings, but to invest in the future of Liverpool’s youth. Young people were hit the hardest during and after the recession, which is why myself and Katie are passionate about providing hard working youths with fantastic career opportunities. We are therefore offering 100 new apprenticeships at The Shankly Hotel, which is scheduled to open its doors for the very first time in August 2015.
We are searching for passionate, dedicated individuals to provide our guests with an outstanding service. We have therefore signed a deal with the City of Liverpool College to offer traineeships in a variety of fields, such as hospitality management, accountancy, graphic design, events co-ordination, joinery and web design.
We recently held an open day at 30 James Street – Home of the Titanic to discover the very best candidates for our apprenticeships. We were overwhelmed by the talent and interest on the day, and would like to thank everyone who attended in the hopes of joining our skilled team.
Elaine Bowker, the principal at the City of Liverpool College, recently commented: “The new partnership with The Shankly Hotel will provide unique training and career opportunities for our students, and is part of the long-term commitment to provide skills for the city’s booming visitor economy. The Liverpool City Region LEP has identified the visitor economy as being one the key planks for the city’s growth in coming years.”
Signature Living is dedicated to providing guests with an unrivalled experience, and The Shankly Hotel will be no exception. The success of our Liverpool hotels is due to the talented team that endeavour to make each and every guest experience memorable, and we are 100% confident our new members of staff will continue to provide the same level of service our guests have come to expect.
